二十四节气中的生态文明智慧及其当代价值

摘要

二十四节气是中华民族在数千年农耕文明进程中创造出的独特时间知识体系及其实践，蕴含着丰富而深刻的生态文明智慧。从发展脉络看，二十四节气经历了从观象授时到制度化时间体系的演进，其形成本身就是先民认识自然、顺应自然的生态实践。从生态智慧的内涵看，二十四节气以“天人合一”为哲学根基，以阴阳流转的平衡观念为认知框架，以取法物候的生态知识为实践依据，以应时安排的节律生活为行为准则，构建了一个人与自然和谐共生的完整生态文化系统。在当代，二十四节气所蕴含的生态文明智慧依然具有重要的时代价值：它为应对全球气候变化提供了历史参照与本土方案，为推进农业可持续发展提供了时间指引与哲学遵循，为当代生活方式的重建提供了自然节律与文化底蕴，为讲好中国生态故事、推动文明交流互鉴提供了文化载体与话语资源。本文旨在系统发掘二十四节气中的生态文明智慧，阐释其当代价值，为深入推进生态文明建设提供来自中国传统文化的智慧支撑。

Abstract

The Twenty-Four Solar Terms represent a unique system of temporal knowledge and practice created by the Chinese nation throughout thousands of years of agricultural civilization. They embody rich and profound ecological wisdom. From the perspective of historical development, the Twenty-Four Solar Terms evolved from the observation of celestial phenomena and the regulation of agricultural time into an institutionalized temporal system. Their formation itself reflects the ecological practices of ancient Chinese people in understanding, respecting, and adapting to nature. In terms of ecological wisdom, the Twenty-Four Solar Terms are rooted in the philosophical concept of “harmony between humanity and nature” (Tian Ren He Yi), guided by the cognitive framework of balance and circulation between yin and yang, supported by ecological knowledge derived from phenological observations, and expressed through a lifestyle rhythm based on timely adaptation. Together, these elements have constructed a comprehensive ecological cultural system that emphasizes harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. In the contemporary era, the ecological civilization wisdom embedded in the Twenty-Four Solar Terms continues to demonstrate significant value. It provides historical references and indigenous approaches for addressing global climate change, offers temporal guidance and philosophical principles for promoting sustainable agricultural development, contributes natural rhythms and cultural foundations to the reconstruction of modern lifestyles, and serves as a cultural carrier and discourse resource for telling China’s ecological stories and promoting exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. This paper aims to systematically explore the ecological civilization wisdom contained in the Twenty-Four Solar Terms, clarify its contemporary significance, and provide intellectual support from traditional Chinese culture for the advancement of ecological civilization.
