数字普惠金融对长江中下游农业全要素生产率的影响研究

摘要

数字普惠金融是现代农业提质增效的关键支撑,长江中下游地区实现农业现代化的核心路径是提升农业全要素生产率。基于长江中下游7个省市地级市 2011-2023年的面板数据,研究发现:数字化普惠金融在覆盖广度、使用深度、数字化程度等方面都具有正向推动作用,能够显著提升区域农业全要素生产率。从作用机制上看,通过推动农业技术创新,扩大农业规模经营,进而提高农业生产效益,数字普惠金融的作用机制已经显现;通过异质性分析,数字普惠金融的赋能效应在市场化程度较高的地区表现得更加突出。据此,应完善农村数字金融配套设施,推行差异化涉农金融服务,释放数字金融惠农效能,助力长江中下游农业高质量发展。

Abstract

Digital inclusive finance is an important support for modern agriculture to improve quality and efficiency, and improving agricultural total factor productivity is the core path to realize agricultural modernization in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Based on the prefecture-level panel data of seven provinces and municipalities in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River from 2011 to 2023, the study finds that digital inclusive finance has a significant positive effect on improving regional agricultural total factor productivity, and its coverage breadth, usage depth and digitalization degree all play positive driving roles. In terms of mechanism, digital inclusive finance can boost agricultural production efficiency by promoting agricultural technological innovation and expanding large-scale agricultural operation. Heterogeneity analysis shows that the empowering effect of digital inclusive finance is more significant in regions with higher marketization. Therefore, it is necessary to improve rural digital financial supporting facilities, implement differentiated agriculture-related financial services, release the efficiency dividend of digital finance benefiting agriculture, and promote high-quality agricultural development in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
